Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center is a multicultural, multiservice agency that provides a variety of human services. The agency s breakfast program serves more than 14,000 meals annually for families. It offers a weekly diagnostic screening and treatment clinic for uninsured individuals. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center also operates an early literacy preschool program. The agency features meeting space for social, educational, health, consumer and cultural programs. It operates before- and after-school care programs that include a range of literacy and mathematics skill development activities, as well as art, music, dance and science workshops. In addition, the agency offers college planning and career development activity programs.
