Bob Ryan and Dave Wood got together to introduce a new industry and attraction to Gloucester's economy. Craft Distilling was a very important part of our colonial life. In fact George Washington, after his presidency, was once the biggest producer of spirits in the nation. Before we had a central bank, Spirits were often treated as barter and currency.
