Rural Development, Inc. (RDI) is a non-profit organization established in 1991 by the Franklin County Regional Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA). RDI collaborates with partners to enhance housing and economic prospects for residents and communities in rural Franklin County and the North Quabbin region of Western Massachusetts.
With a mission to build better communities, RDI focuses on expanding housing and economic opportunities through its various projects and initiatives, including the development of affordable housing properties such as Ashfield House, Crocker Cutlery, Moltenbrey Apartments, Orange Recovery House, Orange Teen Housing, Prospect Grove, Sanderson Place, Wisdom Way Solar Village, and the Rural Homes Project on Wells Street.
