The Notre Dame Education Center, also known as NDEC, provides a community-based, comprehensive adult learning and literacy program for low-income adults. It offers a variety of support services in the areas of counseling, job skills and citizenship. The center administers the English as a Second Language (ESL) program. The Notre Dame Education Center s literacy department offers instruction in reading, math, writing and computer studies. It also offers GED preparation classes that focus on critical thinking skills. The center conducts a high school diploma program that features classes in biology, human development, English, history, art and geometry. The Notre Dame Education Center is located in Boston.
