Kolmar Technologies Kolmar Technologies produces infrared detector products for research and industrial applications. Our products are found in university, industrial and government research facilities all over the world. The detectors are usually incorporated in instruments such as spectrometers, or laser systems. Our specialty is infrared photon detection in the 1um to 25um spectral range. Most application needs are met with our standard products, but we can design custom detector/amplifier configurations to meet unique requirements. Kolmar Technologies was founded in Concord, MA in 1990. Operations were started at Minuteman Park, Wayland, MA in 1991 to produce standard infrared detector products -- HgCdTe photodiodes and photoconductors. In 1994 Operations were moved to Conyers, Georgia. New products are introduced as cutomer's needs demand and now include InSb photodiodes, low noise amplifiers, and high speed photodiode amplifiers. In March 2000 Operations were moved to our current location in Newburyport, MA.
