Mass General Chelsea Healthcare Center, Urgent Care is staffed with physicians and registered nurses able to provide care to all age groups. No appointment is necessary and we accept both Mass General patients and those who are not patients. The staff offers a wide range of medical and minor surgical services. Dr. Chander is an Invasive Cardiologist with privileges to perform cardiac catherizations, implantation of cardiac devices (pacemakers and defribillators) and transesophageal echocardiography. He is a graduate of Indira Gandhi Medical College, Nagpur University. Dr. Chander has extensive postgraduate training in internal medicine and cardiology from various institutions abroad and in the United States such as: Portiuncula Hospital, Ireland; Griffin Hospital/Yale University, CT; and Albany Medical Center, NY.
