History

Rare Photography began in 2009 when Alana Hawker, a mother of 2 young children, was tired of the frantic, unhappy experiences she had a several chain studios. She always had an interest in photography, and took classes in school, but never turned it into a business until several friends convinced her to share her talent with other moms who were looking for a better experience and nicer portraits. Word got around and the business expanded into what it is today!
