Many of the Radio Frequency Company systems in the field today were industry firsts. RFC is a leading manufacturer of industrial radio frequency processing systems for rapid heating and drying of materials. Its flagship technology system is the Macrowave heating system. The Macrowave system is used in a variety of applications, such as drying synthetic foams, textile yarns, fabrics, garments, fiberglass yarn, chopped strand, water-based inks, ceramic products prior to firing and water-based coatings and adhesives on webs in paper manufacturing and converting; drying and moisture leveling of webs, sheets, boards and bulk materials; post-baking drying and moisture control of biscuits, crackers and other food products; heat treating and sterilizing of bagged materials; preheating of thermoset plastic molding compounds prior to molding; and sterilizing medical wastes. RFC also designs and builds RF generators, applicators, automated handling systems, system instrumentation packages and programmable logic control systems.
