Prospect Hill Academy

Founded in 1963, Cambridge Montessori School offers a variety of educational and supplemental care programs through its toddler, primary and elementary education plans. It has more than 40 full- and part-time teachers and over 20 teachers with Montessori certification. It offers math classes to toddlers and the program includes counting games and concrete materials and development of important premath skills, such as order, sequence, visual discrimination, sorting, individual correspondence and directionality. The school s language art learning program includes reading, decoding and fluency, semantics and syntax, vocabulary, research skills, and literature and genres. Additionally, its library houses more that 8,000 books on fiction and nonfiction. The organization is located in Cambridge, Mass.
