The Stafford Family Services department is operated by the government of the Town of Stafford in Connecticut, which works for the welfare of the general public. The department helps in building healthy families and strengthening the community. It also helps in achieving self-sufficiency and provides outpatient substance abuse treatment services. The Stafford Family Services department also provides individual and family therapies. The department offers counseling services for individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, and gambling, anger and relationship problems. In addition, it provides emergency assistance services over telephone. The Stafford Family Services department administers a Christmas program and offers various social services.

Our mission is to work in partnership with, and for, the community to provide advocacy, information, and direct services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families.
