History

Owner Tim Oviatt has long been a surf and paddleboard enthusiast. New England boasts a vibrant and growing surf community, but has few shops available to ocean lovers. Further, many people living in the area have no idea what a great place Boston is for these fun water sports. The predominant view of surfing and surf culture is that it is exclusive to places like Hawaii and Southern California. Tim wanted to build a place where vets and newbies alike could share in our love of the ocean, complete with rentals, lessons and surf camps for kids.
