New England Instute Rlgous Res
The New England Institute of Religious Research, through its MeadowHaven program, offers a refuge for survivors of high-control, spiritually destructive groups, providing them a safe space to rest, heal, and grow. Established in 2001, this unique program has focused on equipping individuals with the necessary skills to integrate back into society after experiencing spiritual abuse.
Led by experienced directors Bob and Judy Pardon, the institute has dedicated over thirty years to helping individuals navigate their recovery journeys. While the residential component of MeadowHaven ended in 2021, the organization continues to support survivors through counseling, expert consultation, and community outreach regarding the impacts of spiritual trauma.
