NE Metro Regional Vocational School District

Northeast Metro Tech High School, located in Wakefield, Mass., is a four-year, public, vocational high school, enrolling more than 1,100 students. The school provides vocational, academic, physical, social, ethical, moral and emotional development through its programs. Northeast Metro Tech High School also offers academic programs, including English, social studies, mathematics and science, and honors classes. The school offers various vocational programs, such as automotive collision repair and refinishing program; automotive technology; building and grounds maintenance; commercial design and cosmetology. These programs also include graphic communications, dental assisting, metal fabrication, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and telecommunications and electronics. The school offers various athletic activities, such as basketball, cross country, hockey, soccer and swimming. Additionally, the school has a library resource center for academic and vocational programs, and provides printed and nonprinted materials for students. The school also provides scholarships and career exploration programs to students.
