National SEED Project
The National SEED Project, established in 1987, partners with communities, organizations, and institutions to promote educational equity and diversity through self-reflection and structured dialogue. With a focus on transforming leaders, SEED provides professional development that fosters conversations aimed at driving social change within various educational settings.
Through its New Leaders Training and ongoing support, SEED encourages leaders to develop seminars that deepen understanding of systems of power and oppression while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. The initiative has successfully trained over 4,000 leaders from a diverse array of partners, including preK-12 educators and community leaders across the United States and internationally.
