Who We Are: Mid-State Soo Bahk Do/Mid-State Karate, Our Dojang (studio), #TA 605, is certified By the US Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation Inc. We offer internationally certified Martial Arts instruction in the ancient Korean martial art of Soo Bahk Do for any age. All of our classes are held at the Athol Area YMCA.

What We Do: We teach the art of Soo Bahk Do to men and women of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to develop self-discipline and respect for oneself and others while teaching self-defense skills through the art of Soo Bahk Do. We are dedicated to providing an environment where you can develop your skills in the traditional form of Korean Martial Arts while increasing your physical and mental strength. Our Philosophy: As practitioners we compete not with others but within ourselves and develop our skills to the best of abilities. Inside the Dojang (Training Area) we hone our skills. In the community we take pride in the discipline and philosophy which make us unique among Martial Arts Practitioners.
