Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the brave servicemen and women from the Commonwealth who lost their lives while serving in the military. Established in 2014, the organization features a permanent memorial in Seaport Common, which serves as a space for reflection and remembrance for Gold Star Families and the general public.
The memorial includes a striking 50-foot obelisk known as the Beacon of Honor, along with a Memorial Grove that symbolizes the struggles of veterans dealing with the invisible wounds of war. Additionally, the upcoming Honor Block will provide an interactive educational experience, highlighting the real stories of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Global War on Terror since September 11, 2001.
