Being of Portuguese descent I know my sweetbreads and Lou's bakery is off the charts Ahhhhmazing! It is the first bread that I don't even but butter on. I don't want anything to disguise the taste...

My family literally will not buy Portuguese sweet bread anywehre else besides Lou's. It is the best. It is so good that they literally only take cash and are only open four days a week. They say...

Not open. Made a lengthy trip and it was closed on April 4th.Sign on door posted hours that they were open..and they were not. Why have your hrs posted on yelp if they are false.

I have been calling and repeatedly sent to voicemail despite having been opened for one and one half hours. Good product. Terrible service. I guess that's the way it goes when you get too popular.
