Liberty Bay Credit Union, formerly Telephone Workers' Credit Union, was formed in Boston on March 3, 1917, to serve the employees of New England Telephone. There have been numerous changes in the communications and financial services industries since that time. However, our dedication and commitment to providing our members with the best products and services available remains our top priority. Today, Liberty Bay Credit Union serves the Greater Boston area, and with over 27,000 members it is one of the oldest and most established credit unions in New England. Historically the Massachusetts-based credit union served the financial services needs of employees of all companies providing services and technologies for the purpose of the transmission and processing of information, voice, data, and video.
