Learning Prep School

Learning Prep School, founded in 1970, offers education to students suffering from language and learning disabilities. LPS provides a variety of educational programs to more than 120 students in the elementary and middle schools and over 180 students in high school. Students come from more than 110 communities throughout New England, Mass. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as language arts, social studies, science and mathematics. The school also provides classes in vocabulary, grammar, and speaking, reading, writing and communication skills. In addition, it offers speech, language and occupational therapies. The facilities offered by the school include a computer laboratory, student gallery and online store. The school also provides a variety of extracurricular activities, including social awareness programs and educational program meetings. It also organizes fundraising events and is located in West Newton, Mass.
