Founded in 1993, the firm pursues work varied by size, program and client profile. Concentrating on design for education, performing arts, worship and civic communities, the firm is expert in the architecture of assembly rooms for large groups, and highly skilled at creating new work in sympathy with existing buildings and landscapes. The firm also designs residential and urban-scale commissions. Taylor & Burns is organized as a creative design studio fostering collaboration among owners, architects, and consultants.
