George E. Merrill founded the company in 1953 with humble beginnings - one tractor and one employee. Under his direction and determined efforts, the company would grow to become an essential member of the local construction community. In 1980, his son George D. took over the company and started to expand its products and services to meet the changing needs of its growing community and customer base. Since George D.
