Gary is a jeweler, watch repairman, and appraiser. He is a graduate of the North Bennet Street School in Boston. He has also taken courses in Diamond Grading, Appraising and Advanced Stone Setting from the Gemological Institute of America ( G.I.A. ). Kelli is a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist, having graduated from the G.I.A. at Santa Monica, California. Jewel of the Isle is the only full-service jewelry store on Nantucket with trained jewelers on the staff. Because they repair jewelry daily, Gary and Kelli are aware of the strain that your favorite piece of jewelry goes through. This is why they guarantee the products that they handcraft for life. Jewel of the Island is located at 6 Straight Wharf ( lower Main Street ) on Nantucket Island and is open year-round.
