History
We purchased our first screen printer in July 2009 with no thought in our head of using it for business purposes. Almost a year later, we ended up making shirts for our friends band and that was what piqued our interest in opening a business. Not only had we had fun making the shirts, but we'd been able to help our friends out in promoting their band, and we'd made some money doing it. Not to mention, we were pretty good at it. So we set out on the journey to become Jay Street Ink. We put ourselves out there to other bands and friends who might be interested in shirts, and we slowly gathered a following through word of mouth. At the same time, we spent all of our free time gathering all the information we could to learn all the best techniques and equipment. That's brought us to where we're at today. We've upgraded all of our equipment and software and through the knowledge we've gathered we're able to use the best inks and the best brands of products while keep costs low.
