HistoryAfter a year of recovery from combat wounds in Vietnam, the government was kind enough to assist me in earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance, both from the very prestigious Bentley University. While buried in my burgeoning career in Accounting, I discovered a curious phenomenon: I liked doing tax returns for my friends and family. I know, sounds crazy, right? Back then, we used error-riddled tax programs written in Lotus 1-2-3. Nowadays, I use an incredibly sophisticated (and expensive) package called Proseries Professional. My career morphed into different areas of the Accounting Cycle, but separate and private tax prep became a permanent and fixed adjunct in my work. You know what? I still enjoy it. I guess I'm still crazy!SpecialtiesP.L. Meadows is an accountant who's been working with clients throughout the Westford area for more than 30 years. My area also extends into southern New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York state tax returns. I understand that clients need huge flexibility in establishing appointments and/or interviews. That's why I offer appointment times from 9:00 A.M. to 9:P.M., Monday through Fridays during the season. To better fit your schedule, you can even come here or call on weekends. It will be just you, me, and your tax return. It will be done in my home office: no big box firms with high rent costs, no staff driving up the cost of business, and no costly furniture and/or equipment. These are things you pay for that have no bearing on getting your returns prepared accurately and timely and filed electronically right from my office. When I am finished with your return, I can promise you that I will not be finished with you. I am yours all year round and I'm just a phone call away. Whether you choose P.L.
