Idle Times Bike Shop

Idle Times Bike Shop Inc opened its doors in 1981 in the Town Center Plaza in N. Eastham, MA. The original owners were Donald and his father, Harold Watson. Their vision was to operate Idle Times as a family-friendly bike store. They successfully operated several locations for twenty-five years along the bike trails on the Cape. Peter Noble-Cass, the new owner, worked with the original owners for almost 20 years. He began his employment while in the ninth grade at Nauset Regional High School and worked both part and full-time while working on his Masters Degree and PHD. Peter's love of bicycling over the years lured him to take over the business when they decided to retire. With his background in bicycle racing and touring, it was a natural fit. The store has seen families grow up with us and now their children are our customers as well. This relationship with our customers is the very essence of how we operate our business and will continue into the next generation.
