Hull Lifesaving Museum

The museum (HLM) is located in the original 1889 Lifesaving Station with views of Boston's outer harbor and islands; Boston Light, the first lighthouse built in North America stands tall offshore. The permanent collection chronicles the history of the lifesavers who risked their lives to save fellow mariners in peril along the rocky coast. Check out the lifesaving surf boat "Nantasket" on display in the "boat room" along with many artifacts, photos and charts. Book a tour of the museum with the peninsula's most informed docent.
