History

Hubba Hubba was opened by Susan Phelps in 1979 and started as a vintage clothing store. Suzi soon saw the emerging trend of punk and became the first store to offer Bostonians brands such as Doc Marten, Boy of London, and Dog Pile. With the opening of MANRAY right around the corner from Hubba Hubba, the local scene got a little darker, and so did the store. We now carry a mixture of mainstream lingerie and sex toys, as well as goth and fetish gear and club clothes. We like a bit of leather with our lace!

Specialties

In addition to clothing, including the largest selection of corsets in the area, we carry a variety of adult toys, hoods, blindfolds and gags, whips, paddles, crops, jewelry, handcuffs, nipple clamps, leather restraints, vibrators, prostrate toys, plugs,... the list goes on and on! We have something to offer for every level of play. Our staff is available to answer thoughtful questions.

Just a fantastic store! Service is terrific and the selection simply tickles! Great value on *most* items. Clearly a lot of thought was put into this place.

My inclination is to be entirely supportive of a female-owned sex shop -- I mean, why wouldn't we be? Both things are far too rare. However, after purchasing a device here and wishing to...

As a man, buying a dildo is probably the most heart racingly embracing experience, at least, that I've ever had. And due to unfortunate circumstances I've had to do it 3 times in the last year. 3...
