Greater Lowell Technical High School

Located in Tyngsboro, Mass., Greater Lowell Tech High School is one of the largest schools in the United States. It is a fully accredited high school offering a full academic program and more than 20 technical programs to a culturally diverse student body from the communities of Lowell, Dracut, Tyngsboro and Dunstable in Massachusetts. The school enrolls more than 2,100 students and provides a wide variety of courses. Its programs include advanced and basic welding construction, Occupational Safety and Health Administration classes, electrical journeyman and code review, introduction to computer-aided drafting and design, computers, plumbing, machine technology, medical insurance billing and coding, Microsoft Word and Windows, PowerPoint, Excel and Access, phlebotomy, and small engine repair. The school provides a practical nursing program, a 40-week course that offers clinical instruction designed to assist students in the application of classroom theory within various health care facilities in the community.
