Horseneck Surf Rescue is a dedicated team of 30 lifeguards who have been safeguarding swimmers and beachgoers at Horseneck Beach in Westport, MA, for over 50 years, boasting an exceptional performance record. Known for their rigorous training and commitment, many of the lifeguards have served for more than 20 years, patrolling a 1.2-mile section of the beach while overseeing a 4-mile stretch of ocean beach from Baker's Beach to Gooseberry Island.
In addition to their primary duties, the lifeguards provide backup assistance to nearby beaches and engage in various activities to enhance safety and enjoyment for visitors.
