Established in 1980, G. Stanley Hall School is a special education day school that serves youths who suffer from depression, low self-esteem, socialization problems and self-injurious behaviors. The school conducts classes in math, English, science, history, and physical and health education for students in grades 1 through 12. It offers support services for students and their families. The school also imparts instruction in science, civics, creative writing, French and psychology. It conducts training sessions on topics related to anger management, substance abuse, and coping and social skills development. It provides on-site nursing assistance, medication management and psychiatric consulting services, as well as individual, family and group therapies. Stanley Hall School is operated by the Bridge of Central Massachusetts, which is a nonprofit human service agency. The school is located in Worcester, Mass.
