Over the course of my career, I have worked in many settings and environments with children, adolescents, and families. Based on these experiences, I have developed a style that is relational and playful in nature, meeting each individual client at their own starting point. I work with each client to develop an idea of where we are headed and how we are going to get there. Skills and strategies are introduced and practiced using the unique strengths and weaknesses each person presents with, and are generalized over time. My work is not "one size fits all", as I use strategies based in play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ARC trauma theory, and Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS).
