Founded in 1967, Fayerweather Street School is a coeducational independent day school that enrolls more than 200 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. The school is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools in New England. It offers educational programs in science, humanities, art, music, woodshop, growth education, math and Spanish language. The school also provides individual and small group tutoring classes to support children who need extra help. The school offers infrastructure for several sporting activities, such as basketball, soccer, flag football, floor hockey, volleyball, gymnastics and baseball. Dana School of Music

Founded in 1881, Dana Hall School is an independent boarding and day school for girls that provides education services in grades 6 through 12. It offers classes in math, art, English, social studies and science. The school also provides chorus activities. Dana Hall School organizes various athletic events, such as swimming, softball, volleyball and tennis. It is a member of the National Coalition of Girls' Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools. The school has a staff of more than 50 individuals. In addition, it maintains a library and dining center. The school has a performing arts department, as well as health and wellness facilities.
