The Longmeadow Parks and Recreation Department develops and maintains various parks and open spaces for individuals. It provides a variety of programs, activities, facilities and special events. The department offers aesthetic, as well as athletic and educational assistance programs for individuals of all ages. It also organizes cultural events, trips and aquatic programs. The Longmeadow Parks and Recreation Department provides sports activities that include yoga, softball, tennis, karate and wrestling for youths and adults. Located in Longmeadow, Mass., the department offers youth leagues and maintains a teen center and football, basketball and soccer associations. It conducts dance and music classes for infants, toddlers and preschool children.
