Providing our patients and community with immediate access to board-certified emergency medicine physicians and other specialists, the Yawkey Emergency Center at Falmouth Hospital is also equipped with specially trained nurses and staff, sophisticated testing labs and the latest technology. Ninety percent of our ER patients are in a room within 25 minutes or less. Representing the time it takes for a patient to be placed into a treatment room, our ER Wait Times cannot be guaranteed but provide patients with an approximate length of time it may take to be seen by a qualified medical professional. We provide care to the most critical cases first. The Yawkey Emergency Center at Falmouth Hospital debuted its expansion in early 2015 and now includes a total of 24,000 square feet, 33 private patient rooms and 40 beds overall.
