As in most things in life, one relationship connection always leads to another. Liz's position as Crisis Clinician for Baystate Franklin Medical Center's Emergency Department in Greenfield brought her to do Medical Social Work for Baystate VNA/Hospice which ultimately led her to the Anchorage Nursing Home in Shelburne. During this time, Liz also worked weekends on-call for the hospital's social work & discharge planning department. The first Social Worker ever to run Anchorage Nursing Home, Liz combined her business and clinical acumen instituting policy and environmental changes that achieved a new standard for individualized quality care. After 4 years of success and bringing the home's books into the black as well as the physical plant up to date, she moved on to the Center for Extended Care at Amherst. After this she started her private practice.
