During my study at Northeastern University, a NCAA division I college, I had the opportunity to work with the Strength and Conditioning coach for a couple of years. I learned a tremendous amount about speed, power, plyometrics and agility training. My primary responsibilities were to create exercise programs for the soccer team and the ice hockey team, to monitor athletes during their weight training sessions, and to provide coaching and support. About 4 months ago, I started boot camp training through work. Boot camp is a body weight focused circuit training method that challenges the practitioner's physical and mental fitness. This training ignited my passion for fitness once again and wanting to help others.
