Nested in Uphams Corner, Dorchester, we are a cozy cafe by day offering casual counter service transforming into an intimate and lively 30-seat restaurant by night with a full bar. Our food is a celebration of the ingredients and flavors of the African diaspora — global comfort food — connected from Asia to the Americas. We are a Black-owned, immigrant-owned, and woman-owned business. We believe that food is a vital aspect of community building and we envision a place that is actively engaged in highlighting the culture, art, and history of our community.
