The Congregational Retirement Homes I, II and III, Inc., all acting cooperatively, are private, non-profit organizations funded the the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The three buildings in the complex have a total of three hundred twenty-two apartments. Fuller was Sr. Pastor of the First Congregational Church in Melrose in the 60's and 70's and was the inspiration and the driving force behind the Congregational Retirement Homes.
