Cinema Salem is an independent community theater, showing films and hosting events in the heart of Salem, Mass. The screens in our four theaters -- three large ones and one microcinema -- offer a mix of the latest Hollywood releases and classic film, including independent, foreign and cult. We also host live comedy shows, musical and theatrical performances, drag extravaganzas, business meetings, community gatherings, birthday parties and more. A growing number of film festivals call us home. We provide high-quality film projection and sound, comfortable seating, and a cozy lobby where our concession stand offers beer, wine, cider, snacks, and the best popcorn around. Our friendly, helpful staff make this a welcoming place for all.
