Children's Village

Founded in 1972, Childrens Village is a nonprofit child care center that is located in Cambridge, Mass. It conducts classes for infants and pre-kindergarten children. Each of its classrooms features learning materials and equipment, as well as a teaching team, curriculum and daily schedule. The center has a staff of child care providers, early childhood professionals, teachers and support personnel. Childrens Village offers a lunch program for children. It also organizes various enrichment activities and field trips for the physical, social and mental development of children. Its curriculum focuses on creative arts, nature, science, dramatic plays, reading and building motor skills. In addition, the center features a more than 4,000 square feet of outdoor play space. Childrens Village is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
