The owner, Lisa Dowd, transitioned from a 32-year corporate career to pursue her passion for cooking at the age of 50. Turnpike, where she noticed a lack of homemade comfort foods at service plazas.
Established in 2014 as a food truck in CT, Cheesy Street Grill quickly gained popularity by catering to various events and locations in CT, MA, and NY. After selling the food truck in 2016, they expanded to two locations along the Massachusetts Turnpike, serving a diverse clientele traveling to and from Boston and Logan Airport.
