The West Beach Club, located in Hyannis Port, MA, is a private beach club that has been serving the community since its incorporation in 1916. Originally established as the West Beach Bathing Company, it was founded to provide a dedicated Children's Bathing Beach for the village, supported by a donation from Carlton Ellis. In 1930, the club enhanced its facilities with the construction of a modern bath house, complete with an attendant, lifeguard, and swimming instructor available to ensure safety and enjoyment for all members during bathing hours.
