Never got a chance to get my shoes fixed. You wouldn't know it was closed for six weeks for vacation unless you walk up to the door and see the sign written on cardboard. What a waste of time.

Dropped a pair of dress shoes off to have them polished and I was able to pick them up the next day before a very important event. The gentleman there works by himself. I would highly recommend.
