Prince Hall
The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons Jurisdiction of Massachusetts is the oldest Black organization in America, founded on March 6, 1775. Established by Prince Hall and 14 men of color, the organization has grown to include over 4,500 lodges worldwide, honoring a rich legacy that traces back to African Lodge No. 459 in Boston.
As the organization approaches its 250th anniversary in 2025, it continues to celebrate the contributions of Prince Hall, its founding father and first Grand Master. The Grand Lodge remains dedicated to fostering community and fraternity, carrying on the legacy of leadership and service that has endured for generations. Generated from the website
