History

We first opened our doors in January 1973 as an eight-court tennis club. Over the years we have grown in facilities and in members to become the largest and most complete health club in the Boston area and continue to meet the needs and lifestyles of busy professionals, families and fitness enthusiasts. We are continuously awarded in recognition of our fine athletic facilities, programs, services and staff. We invite you to experience all that the Boston Athletic Club has to offer.
