History

Founded by Theodore Marier, St. Paul's Choir School was designed as an academic program for musically gifted boys in grades 5 through 8. In addition to regular academics, each boy received instruction in vocal technique and music theory. In 2012, the Choir School expanded to include a fourth grade. St. Paul's Choir School continues to educate and enrich the lives of outstanding young musicians.

Specialties

St. Paul's Choir School is the only all-boys Catholic Choir School in America. Our boys sing the great music of the Church each day in the architecturally astounding Church of St. Paul | Harvard Square. On Sundays the boys sing the 11:00 High Mass with professional male altos, tenors, and basses as The Choir of St. Paul's | Harvard Square. The students span from grades 4 through 8 and benefit from a rigorous academic curriculum that includes Mathematics, Science, History, English/Language Arts, French, Latin, Music Theory, and Theology.
