BoardGame Empire

History

The original idea was to run board game nights at restaurants. Each week, we would bring some games, and people would play whatever they wanted. We wanted to become a destination for game lovers. But we never got enough people to fill the restaurant. So we started creating special monthly events to boost attendance. We hosted showcase nights for game designers, a board game escape-room night and board game speed dating. And then people started to come. Even better, they had a blast when they were there. So we pivoted. These special events would be the business. Then one day, a company called and asked if we ran private events. We decided that yes, we did. We turned our favorite board game events into mobile board game parties we could bring to offices and birthdays. And again they had a great time. So it only took a couple of years but we finally found out what we do: We run board-game-themed events and board game parties. And we have to say, it's a pretty great job.

Specialties

We host board-game-themed events, including board game speed dating, board game escape room nights, showcases for local designers, tournaments, and more. We're also available for private events turning your next party into a board game party or using games to bring everyone on your team closer together.
