HistoryI grew up in NYC (Manhattan) but was first professionally licensed to do therapeutic massage in 1990 in Massachusetts. I have completed two wonderful professional trainings in Shiatsu (two different styles) and energy work as well as many and a great variety of science, biology, and health-related courses (as a student at Barnard College, NYC and other schools). Later I taught massage courses as a member of the faculty in a school in MA in while attending and completing another professional massage training in NY State, before I opened a new office in Philmont, NY in 2008 and then, in addition, in Chatham, NY in 2009. My primary location is in Chatham Village, presently; however, I still see clients in Philmont (in a large room at a chiropractor's office which is next to the post office). I also go to people's homes and businesses and occasionally provide massage at a community event, taking along my portable massage table or massage chair (the client's choice).SpecialtiesDanica offers therapeutic massage for relaxation, pain relief, and improved health. She is caring, knowledgeable, and experienced. Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, shiatsu, reiki, and a wonderful combination of them are some of the massage modalities offered. Home visits, chair massage for events, fully-clothed massage, and gift certificates are also available.
