Stone Rehabilitation & Senior Living is a private non-profit residential care and skilled nursing facility located on a safe and quiet hilltop in a Newton Upper Falls residential neighborhood.We offer a unique combination of a classic rest home (The Pettee House) and a modern skilled nursing facility (The Skilled Nursing Center). Many residents have benefited from the ability to move back and forth between these two levels of care while remaining in familiar hands.The Pettee House is a beautiful historic home with 22 rooms for affordable supported residential living. Each resident has a personally furnished private room. Three meals a day are served in our spacious dining room. Residents often gather in our nicely appointed living rooms to read, chat or attend daily activities. Our staff is available 24 hours a day to provide resident assistance.

The Boston Home, based in Dorchester, Mass., is a nonprofit, 96-bed nursing care facility for adults with physical disabilities, multiple sclerosis and neurological diseases. The hospital was established in 1881 and offers various services, including medical and dental services, nursing, social and rehabilitation programs. Its services also include toileting, feeding, dressing, physical and occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, and mental health consultants. The hospital also provides various activities, such as assistive technology; and recreational, cultural and educational programs by the therapeutic recreation department of the hospital. The programs and activities also include writing groups, garden clubs, daily news, coffee, movies and outings. The hospital offers a wide variety of facilities, including wireless door and elevator access, overhead lifts, ergonomic shower chairs, remote control fitted resident rooms. It also provides spirituality program that includes meditation, relaxation and spirituality-themed speaker series.

Established in 2002, Prospect House is an assisted living community that includes more than 110 residential apartments. The organization s facilities feature a library, country kitchen, and dining and living rooms. Each of its residential rooms offers a fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom, closet space, wall-to-wall carpeting and individually controlled central air unit. Prospect House provides assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming. It offers medication management, nutritional and wellness monitoring services. The organization also provides The S.T.A.R., also known as Sharp Thinking Active Residents, an organization-developed program that focuses on mental, social, physical and spiritual well-being of its residents. Prospect House is located in Revere, Mass., and is a part of New Spring Senior Communities, a family of several Massachusetts-based assisted living communities.
