Alderwood Bed and Breakfast

Alderwood B&B is a charming colonial house on a quiet tree-lined cul de sac, a short walk from Newton Center and Boston College. The owners are world travelers and have been to all corners of the globe. Myra is an artist whose work is showcased in the house and depicts the many extraordinary places they've been. Myra also loves to cook and breakfast is a celebration of great food and wonderful conversation. There are two lovely rooms on the second floor - a large queen bedded room with a very restful decor including a chaise, reading nook, desk, and TV armoire and a single bedded room that has an extraordinary library of classic books, a desk, and chair. Original art adorns the walls in both rooms and a hall bathroom is shared by both unless the queen room is book with a private bath option (when available). The owners have enjoyed welcoming guests from all over the world for the last 40 years and love sharing the city of Boston and more specifically Newton with them.
